October 2016 – September 2018
We gave the Living Room a temporary makeover while the extension building work was going on.
October – November 2018
Following the completion of the new extension, we decided to knock through the two reception rooms into one to make a larger Living/Dining Area. One of the main reasons for doing this was to ensure maximum light coming through from front to back of the house. The existing Living Room was incredibly dark and we never used the front room so it was a no brainer. Still to this day, the best decision we made.

The Living & Dining Room would go on to have lots of different styles before we would go on and decide the final look for this space.

The Living Room was lacking character and needed some additional detail so Ian created some new built-ins working in collaboration with Wickes

To add some more greenery to compliment the neutrals in this space, we went with this stunning Olive Tree from Villaggio Verde

We later went lockdown crazy (like most people) and decided to take the mirror above the Fireplace a darker colour (Mylands Orbatory) and paint the dresser the same colour. In the Dining Room, we add a larger rug from Heals which finished this room off perfectly.
